I've noticed that when I allow myself to begin to be transparent and honest with God...to just be myself instead of deceiving myself into thinking I'm able to hide things from Him...I often swing to the other extreme of feeling incredible inadequacy.
"He's God! What could I possibly offer? I'm too ______ (young, old, fat, weak, slow, stupid, unskilled, afraid, unqualified, unknown) to be of any use."
God tells Jeremiah that what he is and who he is are perfectly suited for the tasks ahead.
So it is for you.
So it is for me.
You are not "too" anything. You are exactly what's needed. And through this invitation, you will become so much more aware of who you really are.
